was on sale at Costco for $199 last week. I think its sold out, but they got the new Garmin 265WT for $249!!! (faster processors/ redrawing)

The 760 Unit itself is rock-solid and was just top[-of-the line in '07-'08!!! My wife loves it. We saved $20 on a wall-USB charger when noticed our old Motorola-phone charger is compatible with it and another $20 on a sturdy travel case from Ross's....

Damn they got my $$$. i've been waiting to pull the trigger on a 760 for 3 months, couldn't resist. Car charger, dash mount, and GPS on the way, 2 day Amazon Prime shipping free 🙂.

Hotness. Paid close to $260 for mine about 9 mos ago..... my only complaint is the bluetooth handsfree capability blows... but most people don't buy it for that anyway.

Dammit its dead. I love my 750, was gonna buy this for the parents.

FWIW, Sams has the 750 for $198 or so.

I know it's non-BT but I recall another poster pointing out that most folks aren't buying for that.

i have this....it's good....but two things that stand out....

1. can take forever to get connection sometimes...

2. cannot neglect a roadway

other than that...it's good.

I agree with both these statements and would say this:

3. The GPS unit isn't quite as accurate as the former streetpilot 320C I used to have. It isn't as precise on it's location lock. Make no mistake, it is adequate - just not as good as some former units.

4. If you're buying this for the Bluetooth be aware it isn't all that great. You're better off with an earpiece.

We've been very happy with ours overall and have the traffic service which has come in VERY handy.
