I'd hate to migrate everything off my home server just to find out they're subject to all kinds of outages. I'll just do some testing for the time being.

from the post: "if your own or plan on buying a domain name, email hosting@pchangout.net."

Looks like they're down again for the time being. Although, I can still get into my ftp and control panel just fine.

Nah, I like having a website that works. These guys don't look like they prepared for making such an offer; they're down again.

You have a point there.

PCHO really needs to get their act together.

They're probably cramming these 1,000 accounts onto a $99 Rackshack Celeron server ;)

This might be an okay deal, but I'm playing it smart, and waiting for CEO-Shawn to open the all new, high security, state of the art Cyberwings data center, in Virginia.

I have refused to forsake CEO-Shawn, for which He shall reward me with disk space and bandwidth aplenty. He will carry over my ZAP 4x, and with a wave of his biometrically scanned hand He will provide me with perfect hosting, forever.

Just as soon as he gets out of prison.

Why does that not surprise me?

If I were to offer web hosting with my own dedicated server I would settle for nothing less than a P4 2.0/512MB/60GB machine and I wouldn't cram it with hundreds of clients.

ROTFLMAO

You didn't get the triple whamo? Oh boy did you miss out.

I paid only $0.50/yr for a P6 8.5GHz with 8GB RAM and 7TB (yes terra byes) 30000k SCSI drives housed at a top secret guarded government facility.
