Its DVD only, no CD version. Wish I could convince teachers at work to buy this, as it looks like a nice addition to a small lab.

Update:
MS sent me a email on 10-28-05 saying
"We are emailing you to let you know that we are in the process of sending you a free copy of Microsoft Student 2006 (one copy per address). Your product is scheduled to ship out to you by November 15 and will arrive approximately 7-10 days later via USPS.
I recived mine on the 17th or the 18th

Then my sisters address was shipped to around the 21st or 22nd
These are not for resale DVD versions

Havent got mine yet, but I am curious to anyone who has it installed. How is it? Anything extra special on the disk?

Just to let every body know - I'm NOT going to make an ILLEGAL COPY of one of these disks and mail it out - I'm simply going to mail him one of these Genuine MS disks in MS envelope that I have pictured above.
As I only need one copy for a gift.
