I got mine a month ago after signing up at a TechFair sponsored by MS and a local vendor that we bought PCs from. I was most interested in having our Math dept. preview it due to having the only PCs in the building with DVD drives. Problem is, no one was too excited about putting in the effort required to put it through its paces only three weeks into the new school year. I'd love to respond to MS (and accept my spammy whipping) since you don't get anything free these days without some privacy tradeoffs.
My next thought was to copy the DVD content to a network drive but thats a LOT of space to chew up for what really is helpful to a small percentage of student users. The business labs would be happy, but otherwise it was wasted space. Hope you guys can get the software, but it isn't like the late '90's when freebies were arriving in the mail once a week. I know some of you wouldn't have a THING to wear without all those free T-shirts !

I just got an email from microsoft about this

Got mine in the mail yesterday 11/25. Installation was a breeze. Great tools for kids or alike. One of the best freebees from MS

Edited: Mine is DVD-ROM version, not a CD-rom as the title seems to imply
