And they said the coupons that they got (nobody I saw has gotten them all, just one or a few) came individually in envelopes. :laugh:

Well, lots of companies that do contests take out insurance policies on it so that if the amount of stuff given away exceeds a certain amount, they don't pay for it.

So it's probably more like some big-name insurance guy is getting fired for not noticing how easy it was to get codes and put them in.

That's going to be insane if they send them all out like that.
 
Thanks JSLIM for the photo.

An expiration of 8/31, darn. Coke bottler told me Diet Coke two liters have a shelf life of 90 days. Adding on another month to that, and one can only get about 8 months of free sodapop. My family'd have to drink about one a day, LOL.

I am so gonna try that Menthos thing if I get all my coupons.

The only one I saw on eBay had a high bid of $3.25 plus S&H for two coupons. And it just got pulled, for some reason.

Whoops, found a bunch more. Somebody is selling six coupons, so us "high earners" can expect to get more than just one coupon. I hope.
 
i imagine somewhere, somehow, we're all gonna get fewer than we expect. Did anyone take enough time to read the really fine print they try to hide? Something like "if you win more than one, you will get the first win only" or something to that effect? I like the coupon scan, but why just one????

I agree. This should be interesting, just on a purely marketing standpoint alone. I'm not really expecting to receive coupons good for 110 2-liter bottles. But I do admit to have worked up quite a thirst. 🙂

Actually, a lot of us did read the fine print and, fortunately, it doesn't say anything like that.

What it does say is:
"Coca-Cola Olympic Event Game Prizes: A coupon redeemable for five (5)
2 Liters of any Coca-Cola product. ARV: $7.45. Odds of winning an Coca-
Cola Olympic Event Game prize are based on the random assignment of the
Event and the probability that the 2006 U.S. Olympic team will medal in that
Event. Limit: One (1) Coca-Cola Olympic Event Game Prize per code
(regardless of the number of medals the United States wins in the designated
Event)"
and that's an entirely different thing.

Although, in the end, they can send however many they want and there won't be lots we can do about it.

Still waiting for any coupons here. 🙁
