Contest started on January 2 (and runs to March 15th), so there's 73 days to play. At 3 free codes per day, that's 219 entries. With the US winning 21 out of 90 events (so 21 out of 90 entries is a winner), that's an average of just over 51 winning entries for 255 bottles of soda.

That's one massive belch there. 😀

eBay is gonna be flooded with these coupons. 😉

Realistically what's the value of a single coupon? Most people have either a Walmart or Family Dollar around (both who usually sell 2l for around a buck), so I can't see a single coupon being worth more than 2 or 3 bucks tops.

Not sure about everywhere else, but around here you can get it on sale for 99 cents every once in a while. Still, people will bundle 5 together and sell it on eBay for a buck or pile up a stack and sell a few dozen for a fin. I dunno how they find it worthwhile to do the listing, manage the auction, collect the payment and send out the coupons for such a small fee, but there's a lot of folks who do it.

There's tons of auctions selling coupons for 99 cents, for instance.

I'd imagine it's the same people who live huddled in small apartments with hundreds of cats, newspapers and magazines piled to the ceiling, while subsisting on cans of tuna and macaroni and cheese. 🙂

Oh, I went 0 for 3 tonight. No Coke for me.

0-15 for me so far 🙁

Yikes. There's a theorectical chance of 73.333% (since the USA won medals in 21 of the 90 events) that you'll lose on any given ticket, so the chances of getting 15 straight losers is less than 2%.

Perhaps they've reached some sort of limit and are less likely to hand out winning codes.

Well, before it was a matter of chance because nobody knew who was going to win. Now, Coke knows all the events that equal a payout. Perhaps they are throttling now that they can.

For those of you looking to really rack it up, you can register multiple e-mails without a problem... and they let you use anonymous e-mails... *wink wink* *nudge nudge* 😉

Nope, same mailing address, using the contact info of my parents and sis, with their consent of course. I offered the premise of five two-liters of Diet Coke to my sister and she damn near started foaming at the mouth; nutrasweet(sic) or whatever is in that stuff makes ppl fiend worse than nicotine 😀

I've only won 5, but I've only participated 2 days. 😀 I'm trying again today...wish me luck.

5 bottles or 5 coupons? If the latter, then that's a very good success rate (5 out of 6)... 🙂

Edit:.....unless of course you got those 5 coupons in 2 days by registering multiple email addresses. 😉
