I was thinking a couple days ago that I need some new AMD regalia and voila...here's this thread.
I was even willing to spend a few for it but we'll see if anything comes from my entry. I've had great experiences with AMD's promotional goodies in the past...about a dozen t shirts, a jacket , coffee mugs and of course that mobo and proc from one of those promo tour events.

So after all these people saying they got their amd/ferrari shirts in the past couple days, I was excited to see some mail clearly marked with the AMD logo and with the text "Here's your free gift!"...

But I was sorely disappointed to open it and see a magazine about AMD that they've already sent me two times.



I guess beggars can't be choosers... or something like that.

I got my hat today. It came priority mail. It's actually a nice hat -- Red cap, Farrari shield logo on the front, "AMD" lettering on the the sides, and "Ferrari" in gold lettering on the strap in the back with a buckle (not a cheap plastic buckle). I'm proud to wear the hat, I think they are repositioning themselves as a cool brand. But maybe I'm just a huge geek

Went to my mailbox Sat morning and voila a priority mail package. Confident it was the t-shirt I registered for to my surprise upon opening the package it was some booklet about the online webcast or conference. Bahhhhh If I knew I was going to get spammed instead of a free shirt I wouldn't have registered.
