I bought this unit a couple of months ago, and it's currently doing duty running XBMC in the living room. Works great. Just don't use the included drivers.

The SSD has it's own order number and $74.99 line item on my NewEgg receipt, so it will hopefully qualify for the rebate linked in the OP's post. The Foxconn barebones and a $74.99 discount are listed under a separate order number on the receipt.

I got my barebones, SSD, and (separately purchased) memory in!

A notice to anyone who cares... The firmware in my SSD was very old and I updated it using OCZ's tool (I connected the SSD to a functional Win7 PC to perform the update):

http://www.ocztechnology.com/ssd_tools/OCZ_Vertex_4_and_Agility_4/

Per OCZ's instructions, the tool had to run twice to fully update my SSD.

Also, after verifying that my barebones works, I removed the heatsink and replaced the factory thermal pad with some decent thermal paste. Warranty voided, but this thing supposedly runs pretty hot with the factory pad.
