I don't know about u guys, but to me it looks awfully similar to the D-Link DWL-120. Very possible a D-Link rebadge. The antenna was what tipped me off. Addtron even decided to keep the "120" in the model number.

Although 128 would be nice, I could really care less for $5.

Geez, I dunno guys....I really hate to crap on everyone's excitement, but I am probably not the only one who thinks "Addtron" is a little shady. Most of these no-name companies just run rebate promotions and never send them out. $5 is nothing, but I'd be kinda pissed about losing $40 and the hassle of trying to get my F***ing rebate!

However, I am tempted...can ALWAYS use another wireless card..........DAMN THEM FOR MAKING THIS DECISION SO HARD! Someone CONVINCE ME! :)

While wep is easy to break it does provide one extra barrier for people trying to steal data, and since my network is already set up with 128bit wep getting a nic that won't support it is stupid, so it is very important in my case as I am sure many other's cases...

rebate goes to nigara falls NY, never heard of a rebate center there, rebate says "rebate fullfilled by product distributor" but that doesnt mean amazon, since they are the seller and lists manufacturer as: "Direct Source Distributing" while the real manufacturer is definetly Addtron. and about those amazon Viking rebates...

anyway my buddy says u need a wireless router for this to work but i dont know cuz its hard to tell with the generic description
