No lights

53 c at idle according to CCC, my system board says 40c for comparsion. I'm in a corner of a room where the AC doesn't flow so well and I live in the desert. I'm not sure at load. How do I check while I am in the game?

The 4850 is not a fabulous overclocker - I would not expect it to leapfrog your 9800GT at all. It's a decent $80 card, but I wouldn't go overboard on it.

clocked my to 700/1200 pretty decent overclock.
