Price drop - lowest price on the web for 6600GT (afaik) !

Link

This is a good 6600GT pci express card. Although it wasn't included in the recent 6600GT roundup by anandtech, it overclocks better than average, and includes a HDTV component output. No bundled software though.

MSRP for this card on eVGA's website is $249.99
btw, this card is SLI ready (like all nVidia's PCI express video cards), so it offers a good upgrade path down the road.

we are all anxiously waiting for the A8N-SLI and its bretheren (to be available for a reasonable price)

2 of them in SLI will be cheaper than a 6800GT and run faster. The 6600GT cards also do video/dvd better than the 6800's.

Lucky for my family, the new SLI 64 boards aren't out yet (at a price I can afford). It would be a Merry Merry Christmas in widescreen.

Mine's showing packed as well, so it's looking good so far. Btw, I believe this deal lasted less than 24 hours, possibly only 12 hours.

Didn't want to spend any more money this Christmas. I just bought a toshiba DVD/HDD recorder at OneCall, but have been waiting for a deal like this. Glad I got in on it before the price went up? Thanks user1234

well, i just got an email saying that my card is on backorder... 🙁 strange the website still shows in stock. me no like

well, i just got an email saying that my card has SHIPPED, and it will be here on Friday !!!!!!

btw, I submitted my order just a few minutes before posting this thread, and a few minutes after stumbling upon this deal while searching on pricegrabber. So my order was probably one of the first ones. I hope everyone else gets their order shipped soon, but in any case, even if they did run out of stock, I think that ZZF is an honest trustworthy company and I'll bet that they'll send out the cards as soon as they get them, which shouldn't be too long.

Happy holidays everyone !

UGHHHHHH. I got mine today, and was excited until I opened the shipping box and saw the shady packing they had done. Then I noticed the missing manufacturers wrap on the video card box. I continued to open the video card, as I pulled out the video card I noticed where the card had already been opened. The "caution static sensitive" sticker had obviously been peeled back. So I remove the video card only to find out that the serial number on the video card does not match the serial number on the box. I am so P!55ED. I called ZipZoomFly and they acted dumb as normal. "Have to send it in for us to inspect? They will probably try to screw me with return shipping and restocking fees plus the increase in price in order for a replacement to be sent. I am calling the Better Business Bureau in CA, and reporting this to eVga as fraud.

I also got an open box unit - the box wasn't sealed and looked like it's been opened, and once I opened it I saw the sticker on the bubble wrap holding the card is also torn. But the card itself has no marks of visible defects on it, and it appears to be new. Also it is a eVGA 6600GT and the serial number is the same as on the box. I haven't used the card yet (waiting to get a mobo and cpu), but I'm hoping it will work fine.

Did you mean that in your case you received a different product ? Was it not the 6600GT ?

No, the card is a 6600 GT. However is is used, probably one of many returns. It has some mild marks on it where it mounts to the motherboard, other than that it appears in good shape.
I could live with it if they had advertised it as "open box" merchandise. But what really gets me upset is that the serial numbers do not match. What kind of shady operation is going on at ZZF? This makes me real nervous about purchasing from them in the future. I have already contacted eVga about their business practice. I am just so P!55ED at this......
