This is not a good beginner anime I'll say that. *still keeps me up sometimes at night pondering WTF were they on when they made that ending*

sweet! great deal.

ps. shinji's whinning is more realistic than heero(gundam W series) being not having any emotions at age 14 and no one had a problem with him. yes it does get a little annoying towards the end especially in the end of eva, but i would rather watch him than the lame ass characters in gundam which everyone thinks is better. story line seems to kill the weak minded.

Never got into Gundam for that very reason.

Was left saying 'wtf... that is it?' after the original Evangelion ending. The ending on the two movies was somewhat superior, imo.

On a side anime note, wtf is 'Super Milk Chan' on adult swim? I expect to doze off to something amusing like Venture Brothers or ATHF or SL2021 or Harvey Birdman, but SMC is on. Forget it. Do not answer that. I do not want to know.

Wow, this will be the first anime I've purchased in over 2 years... and only cuz it's a great deal!

I refuse to be sucked in by the evil powers...

Last time when they had the Gasarki deal like this it went BO for a couple of weeks but they eventually filled my order.

I got a shipping confirmation today at 12:08am PST, there's no tracking for USPS Priority :disgust:

Thank you for ordering from Right Stuf International - Your Anime Superstore!
We are pleased to inform you that your order has shipped. Unless we contact you regarding a problem, you can count on your shipment leaving our warehouse within the next 2 business days.

BTW, I thought Renewal version was for Japan only and that there was no intention of bringing Renewal onto US market... :?
ADV's new "Platinum" edition is essentially the Renewal version. But they aren't allowed to call it Renewal since they don't have the license to the movies.

Rightstuf is pure EVIL! Because of them I have less spending money. They keep posting evil deals which FORCE me into buying, causing me loss of money and loss of time (typical 26 episode box set has 7 hours of video). LOL, I just spent almost $300 with them in the last 24 hours, and plan to take advantage of their 12days sale by spending another $100 or so on Friday (so I can see every item on sale). I picked up "His and Her Circumstances" box set for $40 and "Last Exile" box set for $120, among other stuff.

Great deal... you think we have to pay the $12 membership fee in order for this to work? just a guess...

Lemme answer this and other possible questions:

- You do NOT have to be a "Got Anime" member (cost $12 annual) to purchase from the site. Membership discount is separate from weekly specials, "Shawne's Deals of the Day" and coupon codes.

- The annual $12 "Got Anime" membership entitles you to a 10% discount on purchases. It pays for itself after buying $120 worth of stuff.

- The membership discount does NOT apply to weekly specials, "Shawne's Deals of the Day" or clearance items.

- The membership discount explicitly DOES apply to coupon code deals, so the Evangelion box set would be discounted to $36 with the "Got Anime" membership.

- Free shipping (budget/slow) for orders over $100. Note that it seems the $100 limit is BEFORE any discounts are taken (coupon, membership, "Shawne's," but not weekly specials), so the Evangelion box set has free budget shipping.

- Coupon codes are always posted right on their home page and are always reusable up to the expiration date. Feel free to post them here, but wait, no need to as every visitor to their site can find the codes right on the home page.

- Discounts for codes and "Shawne's" will not show until you are finalizing the purchase. Discounts for "Got Anime" membership will not show until you receive email confirmation. Don't sweat it, they honor their discounts as long as you typed in codes/membership# properly.

- Do not expect to receive your order in a few days. You might, but I don't think their site has real-time inventory because I've ordered stuff that was "in stock" only to find it backordered. Don't worry though, they do not charge your credit card until the order ships and they do not charge extra shipping if an order is split up, nor do you lose any discounts. Rest assured that you will get what you ordered and that you are getting excellent prices on "official" merchandise. No fansubs or Hong Kong knockoffs from them, only officially licensed region 1 releases.

- Get on their mailing list. Once a week you'll get a newsletter that includes the current discount codes, plus the weekly specials (prices good Thursday through Wednesday). Some of the weekly specials are REALLY good. For instance I just picked up Samurai X movie on DVD (bastardized version of Ruroni Kenshin movie?). Cost? $5.99 with free shipping and no tax. Sorry, deal ended 1½ hours ago.
