Update: Price back up to $535.50 + tax even after EPP and DPA
Dell UltraSharp 2408WFP 24" 1920x1200 resolution Widescreen LCD Monitor (S-PVA Panel) = $390 ($374 with DPA) + Free Shipping + Taxes
I have to give Lila on SD credit for this. I ordered this myself, and now I'm sharing it with all of you. This monitor regularly dips down to $479 and occasionally into the $415 range, but I've never seen it this low before.
Here's the link. You have to be part of the Dell EPP (Employee Purchase Program) through school, work, etc. (at least you're supposed to; there might be a way to get it work without that).
It's $390 + tax right now, and you can get it for $374 + tax if you pay with DPA (Dell Preferred Account). To get the DPA discount you have to act like you're going to pay with a credit card, and then Dell will offer a 4% discount for using DPA. My total came to $396.25 after tax with free shipping.
This panel is a great choice for those wanting to steer clear of TN panels. For anyone who remembers the awful input lag of the 2408WFP, it has improved from 62ms to 32ms with the latest revision. Just be sure to check the rear of the panel and confirm that it states Revision A02.
Edit: Following the link above will show the monitor as $419. This is before the EPP and DPA discounts. Your cart will look like the following: $599 - $179.70 instant savings - $28.18 EPP discount - $16.77 DPA discount + free ship = $374.35 + tax ($21.90 for me) = ~$396.25.
