Hey, so I'm going to be in the states for a few more months before I go back to Canada. Would I be safe in assuming that since this is AT&T it would compatible with Canadian networks (Rogers or Telus)? I know I've read of some phones having issues, the Nexus S comes to mind. But this would be a fun toy to have on campus for a few months with free wifi everywhere and then get a cheap plan back home without the expensive contract.

i tried the streak, mine was DOA so really cant comment on the functionality side. it would not connect to 3g network, only edge network.

i can say however, that this thing is BIG, but thin. i liked the big screen but the phone is showing its age.

i ended up returning it, and picked up the motorola atrix instead
