Edit: Just ordered one. You can add 2 or more to your cart and use the 10% off $899 coupon that came in the e-mail DO NOT PM ME FOR A COUPON
Edit #2: You can also upgrade to a GeForce FX5200 for another $15 over the GF MX, or opt for a Radeon 9800! This seems like a no-brainer.
Edit #3: Rebates seem to be limited to "only" 5 systems max.
Edit #4: 7200 RPM 40GB is another $10. Right above the "value HD" option. Just ordered another one...will cancel the first.
Edit #5: The double memory is NOT applicable with the $100 rebate...beware.
Edit #6: Deal is dead due to AT effect. Good luck to everybody.

Ok, since I can't ask for coupon... DOES ANYONE HAS A DELL COUPON THEY DON'T USE?

I'm not asking for the coupon ok? *hehehe* 😀

I ordered twice - separately because I decided I wanted to upgrade the video/HD...only to find out I could modify the original order if I wanted.

Anybody have any experience canceling orders from Dell without an order #?

This has to be one of the hottest dell deals I've ever seen! Please dont flood them with orders! 🙂

How many did you order?

Ordered 20, plus I called in to confirm this with the rep...MUAHAHAHAHAHAH....i killed the deal!.....just kidding......ordered only 1....no 10% coupon either, but not complaining....and not complaining about having to pay tax w/ dell for the first time!

I ordered but haven't gotten an email and it doesn't show in my order history. This normal ? Think i should go again or wait to see if they pop up ?

Just call them, they'll transfer you to their online dept. They do it w/ out a problem. Done it many times. In fact, about to do it now......From an order i placed last friday from Dell Home for same config, $300 more

The email can take up to a day.

Are these microATX? That is what the case looks like in one of the pictures on the config page. If so, very cool, as this will be my LAN box.

I ordered one and threw in the Radeon 9800 for $130 more. Anyone know if this is a pro or non-pro (either way, it's cheap!)

This is just one of those ridiculiculous deals...

And it's kind of silly to tell people not to order too many...Dell limits rebates to 5 systems ANYWAY, and ordering 5 isn't going to cause some huge shortage of PCs...it's DELL!!! They're not going to run out of P4 2.4C's or DDR or 40GB hard drives...jeez...

Personally I think everybody should order 5....hahaha of course I do seek vengeance on Dell and torturing them with a bazillion orders for $139 P4's would just be wonderful...I can't see how this could POSSIBLY be profitable at all...there's even free shipping!

The shipping itself has to be at least a few dollars...even for a huge shipper like dell it's gotta be like $10. Then there's the CPU...which I suppose has some bulk discount from Intel, but I just can't fathom it being much lower than $100 even in ultra-bulk...maybe $80? And then there's still the MB, PSU, RAM, HD, Case, CD-ROM, etc.

Is the Radeon a true 9800, or is it maybe the cheapie 9800 SE that I see popping up on Pricewatch in the $160 range?

That is a good question, that's why I myself didn't chance it and just went with the 5200 for $15 more.
