There haven't been too many good gaming capable desktop deals during Black Friday, but I saw these two, and think it is a fair deal for someone who doesn't want to build their own.

I can't link directly to the deals for some reason, so go here and scroll down (sorted by price):

http://deals.dell.com/category/special

-i7-7700
-8GB RAM
-16GB Intel Optane
-1TB Hard drive
-GTX 1060 6GB video card

Now at $899, in my opinion it's kinda of a "meh" deal. Not the best, not the worst.

But right now Ebates has 15% ( down to 10% now ) cash back through Dell Consumer. So that's $135 cash back through them, leaving the price at $764. Plus, if you sign up for the (free) Dell Advantage Program, you will get about $40 back in Dell Rewards, and get free shipping.

They also have a Inspiron Gaming tower for $849.99 (Now $799.99) with:

-Ryzen 1700X
-8GB RAM
-1TB Hard drive
-AMD RX 580 8GB video card

After the Ebates cash back ($127.50), it would be $722.49 (plus about same as above for Dell Advantage).

Both of these systems should be cheaper than you could build it yourself for if I calculated everything correctly.

I also came across this one, and I think this is smoking hot (with the 15% Ebates cash back). It is available starting tomorrow at 11:00 AM EST

Alienware Aurora

-i5-8400 6-core CPU
-8GB RAM
-1TB Hard drive
-GTX 1060

$799.99 ($120 cash back) $679.99

Now the hot part: Upgrade to a GTX 1070 for $100, or to a GTX 1080 for $200.

So say you go with the GTX 1080. It would be $999.99 ($150.00 cash back) $849.99. Now when those GPUs go for $500+ right now, and the 8th gen CPU that goes for $199.99, the rest of the components only cost you $150.00 You ain't beating that. :)

I can't link to it, but if you go here:

http://deals.dell.com/

Then click on "upcoming" towards the middle right, then go down until you see the "15% off gaming PC deals" it's right there.

Not horribly surprising at that price point. Only thing it was missing is ssd. Hum. Was a decent deal :)

The one thing about Dell and Dell Outlet, is the average person competes with 'script kiddies'. The hottest deals are gone as soon as they are posted. Oh well, I tried.

They also have the SuperNES Classic tomorrow at 11 AM, but it will probably be the same type thing.

The Ryzen 1700X Inspiron Gaming desktop in 1st post is now down to $799.99 (plus 10% cash back still active at Ebates).

And the SNES Classic sold out in .5 seconds.
