hehe, at the time of the original release it was the best engine for hords of enemies on screen.

also shows you how game AI has changed since then, circle-strafe is a central part of your strategy in Serious Sam, so I really meant mindless.

Yeah, it seems more laggy than what I remember of multiplayer on the original, even though I have a much faster connection since I last played the non-HD version.

I try not to get into the PC vs. console wars but in this case he's absolutely correct. Better looking graphics on the PC version. 16 players on the PC instead of only 4 on the Xbox. No mods will likely come out for the Xbox version either. My computer can only run it on lowest settings but I chose to get it for that instead of the Xbox. Its just a better experience in the end.
