I just puchased:
2 pairs of JBL N38 series 2 speakers for $179 a pair(msrp$1000 for 2 pairs)
1 pair of JBL ND310 series 2 for $269.99(msrp $700)
1 pair of JBL S312 series 2 or $404.99(msrp $1000)

Notice that they are already clearing out the S312 series 2 speakers that were just released.
I noticed on my reciept that the quantity said 1 of each, I was concered about this so the manager gladly copyed the tags for me and signed them.

MSRP usually means jack when you look at just about anything. Its funny how you can find products for so much cheaper than the msrp simply because you think it is a good deal because its way under. Sounds like a corporate kind of ploy.

ND310s are 135.00 ea ($299 ea at J&R)
S312s are 202.50 ea ($449 ea at J&R)
all are the series 2

just called local best buy and they're discontinuing the N38's. from $199 each down to $149.50 each. bummer. you're a lucky guy, bent.

I can't believe no one is cashing in on this deal....go have a look at ebay and see what these speakers are selling for there.

These price are 55% less than what Amazon and J&R Music sell these for.

BTW, J and R sells 312 for $620 /pair. $200 off is still quite a savings

Sorry guys, I guess it was a price boo boo.

I went back in to try and buy another pair of S312II at $404 a pair and pay to have my speakers delivered..hey these things are big!
Yesterday the manager said it would be $35 to deliver them all..now they refuse. Cool for me , I'll just have my customers go and pick them up.

I actually know this particular saleman and he says.."hey I thought you built your own speakers and hated Best Buy, what are you doing here and why did you buy those jbls?"

I said , " I do build my own speakers and I do hate Best Buy but at this price?..what do you think I am stupid?"

He then says, "you know what you did, that was pretty slick of you to ask for copies of the tags and have the manager sign them"

They were pulling the tags just as I got there....Yes Best Buy sold me pairs of speakers for the price of a single one...and it was a sale price to boot.

I asked him how many they sold at that price...I guess I am the sole winner.
Best Buy charged my Best Buy card yesterday in the amount of $1116.72 for
2 pairs of N38II
1 pair of ND310II
1 pair of S312II
