It is amazing how much our brain responds to a 5% or 10% savings. We get excited, happy, and want to make a purchase even if its on impulse. It is only 5% or 10% but if we know it is a saving we are more wanting to do it.

I want one too, though like a lot of others, I don't absolutely NEED one right now. I can muddle along with this two-year-old Crucial 128GB for the time being. That said, I am hoping for some killer BF or CM deals on a 480-500GB SSD. My biggest problem is that I am not going to upgrade my 2500K system until either Intel (almost certainly) or AMD (unlikely) give me a good reason to do so. I don't really want to tear into this system to replace the old Crucial SSD, but then I don't have a huge motivation to upgrade what is already a pretty fast machine that does everything I need it to do. I'll bet SSDs and video cards will fly off the shelves once Intel gives us a reason to upgrade. I KNOW there are a bunch of people just like me who are waiting and who are itching to spend our money. By the time a real upgrade becomes available, unless something weird happens, the price of SSDs will likely come down even more.
