***DEAD***Corsair 750W professional $119 @ amazon

this is really a nice psu. if i had not gotten a kingwin platinum lpz-550 yesterday for the same price, i would have gotten this one. in fact i still want one of these even though i have no use for it lol

 
Yeah I had to wait until 6pm to get my paycheck and it had just ran out again I was peeved. I just ordered it for 120 bucks and just gotta wait for them to restock. You can order it but then wont charge you the money until its in stock, they only put a 1 dollar charge on your card.

EDIT: Also it says the estimated ship date is after december 25. Probably just a place holder date.
 
What is the difference between AX and HX series? Which is better?
I bought the HX750 model 2 years ago for $115 when I built my current Desktop.
 
I got it simply because its fully modular, 80 plus gold standard and decent wattage for when I get a second gtx 560 ti for sli. Went to compusa and they were selling the hx650 for 105 bucks. This for 120 bucks is very worth it imo.
 
Are U serious...$120 for a PSU? I'm using an OCZ 700w modular for $50....but I'm not SLI-ing. You guys must have a lot of cash to burn.

Anyway, I've been running this particular Corsair unit for over 6 months without a problem. I was lucky and nabbed it when amazon had it for $105. Anything over $120 would seems a bit much to me.
 
i personally would not call any $50 psu "high quality" but i guess people have different definitions of what high quality means
 
Just to clarify, it was from Newegg: OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W Modular sells for $89.99 (not a cheap PSU) - $30 rebate - $9 instant + free ship = ~$50. I just can't justify spending more when there are other components I'm rather invest in...like an SSD or better graphics or more memory. Casually saying that anything cheap will blow up your comp is ridiculous! They only problem I've had with cheap PSU's is that they may not deliver enough juice-causing your comp to reboot all of a sudden.

Ahh, so I suppose when you say "crap on," you mean to say that you can tell which computer is running with the Corsair vs my OCZ and the one with Corsair will be 50 times faster? I'll put money on that bet!
 
Honestly there is no way anyone should be debating over the ax 750, especially at the offer this was going for($120.00 dollars)

PSU's in general benefit from the fact that they can last a LONG time in a single build depending on your preference of running a power hungry setup or a single card setup. The biggest difference between psu's aside from quality, are the efficiency ratings and and amps on the +12v rail(s). This psu not only has a 80 plus gold certified rating, it also has a single +12v rail with 62 amps. An extra benefit to this is also the fully modular support.

No one is saying the psu you may have is bad, just that its obviously not in the same category as the ax corsair psu's.
