Hi there,

SVC.com is offering the Coolermaster Hyper TX2 cpu cooler for $16.99 less $15.00 Rebate bringing the total down to $1.99. This cooler is comparable to the AC Freezer 7 Pro /64 series.

Shipping need to be applied which cools the deal a bit.

Hey take a look here

You be the judge.

I use this cooler. I love it, and it is a great cooler for someone who wants something significantly better than stock but not necessarily the most outrageous cooler on the market. Also, you don't have to remove the MB to install.

I used one of these for a while before buying a AC Freezer 7 Pro off a guys local for 15 bucks -- same performance clock for clock but if i remember correctly this was a little more on the silent side *hot* would be in but i'm done with 775 builds for now that aren't "outrageous"

How would this compare to the OEM HSF on a q6600???

I put one on my e2140 (@ 3.2 !!!), but at this price I'll add one for even a degree or two on my quad.

So I installed this bad boy with ocz silver ultra 5+ and am getting the same temps as I had with stock (~42C idle and 55c under load). This is on a e4500 clocked at 2.9ghz

I bought this at around $16 shipped AR and that seems like a decent deal. It's quieter and cools better than the intel stock HSF. From the reviews I've seen, it is very very similar to the arctic cooling freezer 7 pro in both noise and performance.
