This thread lists it for $303 shipped w/o rebate, and your thread title says *1*99.99 - I almost crapped myself (luckily I read further before I had the chance).

Can you use the Pioneer A04 firmware with this? DVD-R firmware needs to be constantly updated to show which media can burn at 2x.

cool deal, i think i'm gonna sell my a03 on ebay and pick this up...rumor is the a04 burns more consistently on generic media than the a03 (once again, a rumor, but who knows for real)

Is there a good link for that $50 off $200 coupon? I'd like to grab a drive tomorrow. The one listed seems not to want to work for me.

Thanks :)

1st note:
Don't forget, you will be paying about $19.50 in tax so it's really $344.49 before the MIR when buying online

2nd note: The $50 off $250 coupons
If you do use one of the ones that actually still works (there's a few in the officemax thread, just keep trying) ..sometimes even after u checkout, it wont show up.
What to do?
First exit your web browser.
then clear your cookies of any officemax ones
Then open one of the working $250, then hit start shopping, put it in ur cart, etc.
Make sure you are prompted to login with your username and password (if you are only asked for your password, you gotta logout and start over from the first step)
Then it should show up.... pain in the a$$!

You have a PM.

You can use the $50 off $250 Promo Offer Code by putting the drive in the cart then you will see "Promo box", put the Offer Code in the box and you will see the discounted price on the next page.

Anyone pick one up yet and confirm if it's a Pioneer? I'm not sure this is worth the extra troulble over buying it from the Pricewatch folks. I assume the software is the same, true?
