Yeah, there is a $50 MIR right now, so I guess he just wrote it wrong.

I hope I get my MSN dollars before Sunday so I can use them.

Info and the pic on the web site is the 2x drive, but Officemax has been sending people the 4x drive for the last 2 months because they are OOS on the 2x drive.

Has anyone actually gotten this particular drive and discovered that it was only a 2x drive. If it is a 4x, this deal is pretty hot.

OfficeMax has both the 2x and 4x burner. The last sale was one the 4x. This one is on the 2x.

Officemax has never had a sale on the Cendyne DVD-R/RW 4x drive, in fact they have never advertised that they sale the 4x drive.

Not sure how it is in your area.

BUt all of my OM's B&M's have 2 display boxes, (2x model, and newer 4x model). They both have the same SKU# on the pull tabs...
Pull Tab

Model CDICD00209 is the 4x model. Model CDICD00106 is the older 2x model. But they ring up the same prices, same instant rebates.

Well, I printed out my internet order (right before "complete purchase") and went to my local B&M here in MN. I got them to give it (cendyne 4x) to me for $234 out the door. However, now I see that there is a new deal this weekend. Interesting...hopefully I can talk them into giving me the 50 IR if I buy something else. Or, maybe I'll have to just return the first drive and start over. Oh well...that's how it goes.

I know they have 2 display boxes of both drive, but that doesn't mean they have the have they have both drives in stock and you have ever seem the 4x drive on their web site or in their weekly ad? It's hard to have a sale on a item without showing what the item is.

CD-R requires "Original Officemax register rebate reciept" does that mean the rebate receipt printed out, or orignal receipt? Will the rebate still valid if you had already purchase the FAR CD-R this week?

thank you.

This rebate goes to RebateHQ.com and I have never had a rebate rejected because I send in a copy of a receipt, jsut make sure you keep copies of everything you mail in with your rebate.

Each rebate offer on that MFG rebate form has a different offer number, so you can do all 3 offer if you wanted to, but they have to be mail in separately.

No officemax BM close by for me - Can I do this online? Will the IR appear online on 03/09?
Or will Officemax.com PM the closest Officemax BM store for me? TIA.

So if you do this deal all online...what do you use as the receipt for the mail-in rebate that has to be mailed within 15 days? The order confirmation page from online or do you have to use the invoice that comes along with the drive? Thanks.

i actually thought of another idea you could do. Cendyne DVD-R/RW $219.99 + 48x internal CD-RW Drive $49.99 = 269.98 - 50 Cendyne MIR - 30 48x MIR - 50 of 250 OfficeMax coupon = 139.98. not bat if your looking for a cd-r burner on the side.

quick question though, on the officemax cendyne rebate link on the first post, there are checks to the left of each item. Does this mean if i were to actually to do this deal i thought of, then could i just check both items on there and send in both upc, serial number, and ONE SALES RECIPET WITH BOTH ITEMS ON THERE?

btw, if you are looking for a better cd-r burner on the side, there is a 52x 24x 52x for just $20 more bucks...

does that coupon work at the stores too or is it an online only coupon?
I guess you can't use the coupon in store since the coupon says this "This is a one-time offer that applies only towards your first order at
www.officemax.com"
