Alright, here's the deal:

Deal is dead.

Circuity City has the Canon S200 for $280 w/$50 mail-in gift card.

If you use MSN Wallet to checkout you get 20% back, which is $56.

OfficeMax has the Canon S200 for $200 this week Link.

So buy the camera through the CC website (better do instore pick-up and probably make it today), and PM to Officemax and see if it works.

I know they won't count the MSN, especially if you do in-store pickup.

I'm guessing they won't count the Gift Card, because as far as I know it's not considered a rebate because you can only use it at their store.
 
Is that Officemax ad regional only? I just went to Officemax.com and it wasn't in the ad for California...

If this is nationwide, I'll try to nab one.
 
I'm not sure if it's nationwide, I ripped the link from FW, but either way you can just return it if they won't pricematch.
 
Office Max has regional ads. This sale is not available in CA next week so the pricematch is a definite YMMV for Californians.

Edit : Found out about MSN dollars, pretty simple to do it actually... Now just want to see CC's return policy
 
CC's return policy is actually pretty liberal when it comes to digital cameras, they don't charge you any restocking fee on them.
 
Peeps in Vermont might have s200 for $200 in-store. I placed the order anyways, will check tomoorrow what is OM's in store price, then PM, if no PM then won't pick up the cam, just return (even before picking it up)

That would have been a good idea. Alas, I already did this and picked up the camera today. One thing worth mentioning is that to keep all your msn dollars you'll probably need to have CC put the difference onto a gc when you go back to do the pm. That's what everyone seemed to say over at the chubby billfold anyway.

That would be s4ck ! I don't think I would be spending ~125 at cc anyways in the coming few months ! So, I'll be actually stuck with all the GC money and also the gift card !

i just did this half an hour ago in los angeles, ca, so it's definately possible. the csr did call officemax and they were out of stock but he helped me out anyways.

the transaction number of the receipt matches the email/printout so hopefully msn goes through, as well as the gift card offer.
