Not the biggest savings I've ever seen, but if you're going to be buying something from them anyways, might as well save the $20 with promo gift card.

One thing to note, however, that those "promo gift cards", that get sold alongside a "gift card", may have different T&Cs that the gift card that they come with, including shorter use-by dates. Maybe as short as a few months.

But if you have something that you're looking to buy (for example, I would love to get one of those new DeskMini units, and an i5-8500 or so to go in it), then this gift card thing makes sense.

(Not that I have the money right now, sigh.)
