Uh..dang! I ordered mine on the 27th. No confirmation of shipping. Do you think this vendor can handle the Anandtech Effect?

Here's hoping to get this case. The money saved will be spent on a good PS. I'm in total agreement with anazoal. Looking for good deal on Antec or Enermax.
 
bah...just called extreamgear.ordered on 9/24 confirmation 9/25...cc charged 9/27....thye link my shipment to some other website that has it going out 10/3 ..i track it and my package is going to seattle!!!!!!!!wtf!!!!!!!!.call my cc company they give me a phone # i call ,speak to sales rep who tells my"airbournexpress" must have screwed up my order#
he tell me that just over this weekend they recieved over 700 orders forthe case........supposedly it never shipped but will by monday the latest..should i be expecting a sorry we cant fill the order e-mail..i think so...
 
order and get email of confirm on 24 10:32 PDT. CC was post on 9/27, expected ship date 10/2.....well past and the shipping date and tracking not there.

given the recent lockout of west coast, i don't think any shipment of case will be here soon (unless it is already here)
 
Got mine today, ordered on the 24th.I assume these guys just got hammered, and are still trying to play catch up.Good case, decent price- just a while to for it to show up.Hang in there and yours should show up also.
 
Just a heads up on this deal.
Chinese case+ shipping lockout=gonna wait.
Contract does not show front usb or side blower.
I got 3 of these cases when this deal was mentioned in a previous post.
2 came with side fans 1 without and none had front usb. I considerd the
fans a + on an already good deal. If you get it, great, just don't bank on it.

Stay away from them like PLAGUE. I placed an order for a case on Sep 24. They charged my card on 26. No news till Today (Oct 4)..So I called them and the customer service rep had the audacity to say that they had 'overwhelming orders' and my order will be shipped when they get around to it. I ended up having to cancel my order as they could not give a firm shipping date even though they had charged my card days ago... Still no news on when they will actually credit my card (its supposed to be with in 24-48 hours).

 
I wouldn't worry about them crediting your card, just dispute the charge when you get the bill if they don't ship and let the CC do the work for you. Never ever pay for a CC charge for which you still haven't received the item.
 
Thanks for the bit of info iluvdeal... if they charge my CC but I don't get my item when my billing statement comes and I dispute it do you think that buyxtremegear will cancel my order? It's not that I don't want the item, but I don't want to pay for something I don't have... someone want to give me their educated 2 cents?
 
I'm frightened... I ordered on 10/03. I really hope this doesn't take months. I was hoping to use this case to build a PC that I have all the parts for coming in sometime next week.
 
I ordered on 9/24 and received it yesterday. These guys don't respond to E-mails, and their tracking system was buggered for me, but I did get my case, as ordered.
 
ordered the case yesterday... heh.. we'll see what happens. I'm in no rush, i can wait up to two weeks for it... after that tho...
 
So would it be better to just order from newegg for the all aluminum version with power supply ,window & light?? Isn't newegg much more reputable at this point?

Yes, newegg is much more reputable at this point and before this point, but everyone ordered from buyxtremegear.com because it was chaep, not really because it was reputable.
 
roger🙂 I might as well just order(get in trouble with my wife, cough) and get from a trust worthy source. I've delivered some nice lookin' cases to people who bought from BuyXtremeGear.Com recently; (watched them open box at front door) and they seemed pleased & no real damage.On the other hand, how can you go wrong with Newegg for about the same price. I think BuyXtremeGear.Com must have got hammered & can't keep up as was already posted. Good luck, will probably work out. :Q
 
I ordered really early on the 25th, like 1 in the morning and though the expected shipping date was the 2nd, it hasn't been shipped yet.
 
i ordered last friday night 🙂 I'm just hoping it will actually go through eventually.. preferably before an nforce2 board comes out.. heh

I'm in MD, ordered the case on the 25th, expected shipping date was oct 2nd, case was shipped on the 7th...almost two weeks to be shipped but it was shipped. Looks like they're moving the shipments....but veeerry slowly.

It looks like they are coming through with the 700+ orders.
 
Finally got mine in Atlanta, GA via Airborne. Too bad they sent the wrong color. I ordered Black and they sent Beige. It's not even worth my time trying to get the right color. I'll just never order from them again. I should have ordered from Directron. Oh well it's just a case and at least it arrived undamaged.

I actually placed the order on 9/23.

I better get a silver case with window and light. No way am I paying for return shipping on this.

 
Me wonders if:
a. Due to AT effect they oversold and ordered extra
b. Due to port lockout they have not gotten deliveries
c. Due to b. many of a. have canceled
d. Due to c. they will have a lot more cases available after b. stops.
 
I ordered on the 5th.... CC has yet to be charged. Also the 'order status' checking site doesn't recognize my order number... but the URL in the confirmation e-mail I received still works. I ordered the blue one, in hopes that there would be more in stock than the other colors (b/c of the higher price fewer people would order it) (also cause I think it looks cool 🙂) I thought about getting the window and light but I decided it'd be best to make sure I actually get the case... I figured it was worth the gamble.... I've had my cheesy cheap beige case for too long now.

hey cubanx !!! You're lucky!!! You got a free case!!! Tell your Credit Card company that the company sold you the wrong item and tell them not to pay buyxtremegear.com ... This has happened to me before with lots of companies who sent me extra pens because they overcounted and one time with crucial where they sent me an extra stick of pc2100 256 ram!!! So far the companies haven't said crap to me, but if they do you and I can both tell them that if they want it back then they have to come over to my house and take it away from me .... that is if they can get past my pitbull and shotgun 😉
