The BFG 6800 Ultra Overclocked GeForce 256mb AGP video card is in stock at Dell.com, even though it says 3 weeks to ship, they are shipping within days. This card is also sold at BestBuy and Outpost.com for $499 but they have been out of stock forever, and besides the Dell site has free shipping. Dell is selling the full retail version which includes a lifetime warranty from BFG Technologies.
Manufacturer Part# BFGR68256UOC
Dell Part# A0397194
Dell's picture shows the liquid cooled version but PriceGrabber shows that model has a normal cooling fan on it.
---
UPDATE: I received mine from Dell and it's the FAN version - not the watercooled version. Dell is showing the wrong photo. The Mfg part number confirms it's the FAN version.
1. You need a 25% off coupon.
Get your 25% off coupon at Dellf by playing their game. You may have to play it a few times to get the randomizer to give you the right code. TIP: You can register more than once. If you don't have the patience to do this, try to bum one off someone else or buy one on eBay. You can do this step in advance as the code doesn't expire until January 5th!
2. You need a dollar off coupon.
STACK IT! The 25% off coupon stacks with Dell's dollar off Software & Peripherals coupons. They run them every so many days but they only work for the first 1500 people who use them in a day, so you will need to get your orders in early! Starting midnight CST 12/5 Dell will have a $45 off $425 coupon (check scoreadeal.com starting midnight cst 12/5) which will make the video card $374.25, the best price it's ever been! If you don't get in on the $45 off coupon, you can find other people selling dollar off coupons on eBay, bum one off someone else, or if you have an Entertainment coupon book there is a $30 off S&P coupon in there that you get by registering your book at Entertainment.com and then by visiting Entertainment.com/dell only after you register though or it will redirect you automatically to their homepage.
3. Free Shipping supposedly ends 12/5 as well, but Dell often renews free shipping offers.
4. FYI - looks like PriceGrabber will also give you a $5 rebate just for writing a product review. You have to submit the UPC symbol with your review to get the $5.
