There has got to be a better way than camping out on the sidewalk for 24 hours. Perhaps adopt a homeless person to save your place online. Or put up a tent, weight it down on the inside, then go sleep in your RV!

I really don't know about the Toshiba, but from my own experience if you get the Panasonic and use these settings, you will be blown away.

My settings are identical, except my Picture is set to +10. Man o' man! I am watching ESPN HD and it is breath-taking! Razor sharp, colorful, and detail picture! I was one of those guys that was curious about the reviews and the hype. Well you have no worries. Go out and buy this for $999 or $1299.

Yeah, to get the laptop/desktop deals you'll basically need to go there on Thanksgiving and camp a good 12-15 hours. I just don't have the time for that, or I'd be all over that laptop.

So I'm good, for now.
 
Soooo tempting. Even if I can't pull down one of the plasmas (or lappy), the 32" westie looks good at that price. And all IRs for a change is damn sweet. Too bad about them fixing the buy before and pricematch, otherwise would be tempted to stop by the store today. 😉

Please, PLEASE break in your plasmas properly during the first 100 hours, guys. Read this white paper on plasma myths, which explains the break-in period. You should set your Picture and Brightness settings down to 0 for the first few months of use if you want to ensure the best PQ for a long time.
 
Im so pissed.. I purchased that westinghouse 42" LCD a few days ago (VERY nice!) with the idea of a price match because the sales person told me I could. now I find out I CANT and even spoke with a manager, no dice. so I have to return the one I got and buy one that morning.. WHAT A PAIN!!!!! Im so MAD! I was told I could do a price match any time in the next 30 days... It didnt matter to the manager that his sales person told me that. you would think they would honor their word as it came from one of their employees, but I guess they dont.
