[DEAD] Axim X3i Handheld $70 Dell price mistake!

Everyone knew it was a pricing error. The deal was basically a hit or miss.

For people that are whining and complaing. Please do us all a favor and just stfu. Your whining and bickering isn't gonna solve anything.

Dell made a mistake as do all other retailers. Atleast Dell honors some of their deals. Unlike many other.

Besides, there is no sense for Dell to trick people into hitting their site.
I disagree with this. How much personal info did they get from people who ordered this unit?
Did we just make another mailing list that they may sell?
Just a thought.

Why won't they honor this one though? 🙁

Best guess, they pick and choose their fights.

Got my cancellation too.

they still haven't sent me a cancellation notice yet *knock on wood*
I'm not expecting this deal to go through tho.

I never got in on any of the dell pricing errors they just seemed too goo to be true. But some of them did go through so I took a chance on this one.

If it goes through YAY~! if not, then I didn't lose anything so can't really complain.

Too much negative energy here!

Here's something that will surely cheer some of you up:

Look at the cancellation email as a consolation prize!

OK just more internet ignorance once again. First off, unless you checked the obligatory "share my email with partners" box, I don't think they got too far with your "mailing list". I think the last thing Dell needs is to make money off of mailing lists. Since I don't get any junk mail, and my E-mail address has been registerd with Dell for several years now, I don't think they are selling mailing lists. Call me crazy, but I have a feeling Dell is a bit more reputable then that. Besides that, most of those who orderd are return buyers, so whats the point of getting your information again? They already have it. Trust me, it does not make any sense for them to post false prices on purpose. It just hurts their customer service ratings (which wasnt all that great to begin with) and efficency. Why do that to yourself?

Still haven't gotten my cancellation notice...so do you ALWAYS get a cancellation notice? I would think to be nice they would send that, versus just never responding again, that would be odd for a company like Dell...

no with my ada880 they just stopped replying, they also claimed when I called that no one answered the cell# I left which I always answer even international incoming.

It eventually got into a pissing match. I told them I could provide all incoming call logs for the last three years and I would guarantee they did not show up.
