Why is every one crying because they can't be sure that they can take Dell to the cleaners because of an obvious pricing mistake. My comment is that if you get your order, great for you, if you don't, what did you expect, you have no standing to claim that Dell has harmed you .

Me and my roomates got into this. Not a big order or anything, just something for xmas. Anybody interested in writing one big thankyou letter to michael dell once we get this? Perhaps write it on my new PDA on the way to class. But maybe we're all ahead of ourselves. Dell snaps their fingers, and we all start crying. Commence the emails of complaints! jk

No.

Ahh well I bit why not.

I swear with all of these non-honored price mistakes Dell should at least throw us like a 10% or 20% off coupon when they cancel these orders. I swear its not like we are really abusing the system Dell is just keeps making these mistakes.

?

I already got cancelled, looks like the deal is blown already, damn dell is getting quick.

?

Honestly they need to honor this - for such a major company, they've been making so many price mistakes - they seriously need better quality control in every department.

BTW: I ordered mine, and got my order confirmation. I have all the documenation printed out - they WILL be honoring this, dammit! ;-)

?

Why not! If you have the money to order 250 of something like this that is WAY below market value, you'd be a idiot not to. The order might get cancelled but what have you lost, out no money, and had a opportunity to make alot, let's see if you bought them all for $80/each, then sold them for say $200 each (still a steal), that's $120 profit per item...doing that with 250 of them, that's $30,000 PROFIT!!! In anybody's book that's ALOT of money, with no downside at all...you just have to look at it as a business.

?

Well the red flags that go up for me will be that Dell is unreliable, as their website is proving to us more and more each week that goes by.

If they do not honor what they need to be responsible enough to post on their webiste, then they are a bad company to buy from, in my opinion.

?

imo..

well there are such things are errors,
any company that makes them over and over and over again, should in the end in some way have to pay. there arracting customers to there site...

maybe some of these low prices are bait and switch... alot of times if someone buys a highend piece, and one of these deals they get the item...

or if they pay for overnite shipping.

1 or 2 price mistakes a year would be ok...

dell however seems to have one every week

I am going to have to call BS.

It's very hard to believe. If true, extremely lucky bastard, I got in this early when I first saw it over that FW, so :crosses finger:

Wow, it's getting deep in here! Wait a damn minute, you just upped your posting count to post a moronic message like this. QUANTITY of posts is not QUALITY of posts. Alot of posts means nothing more than you like to type and probably have to much free time on your hands. Well thought-out, well written posts show intelligence, not just exercise.

If I could lower my post count by one so this post wouldn't count, I would.

Looks like it is dead again. I checked 5 minutes ago, and while I was logging into my account after adding it to my cart the item # went invalid. Arg.

How can this be? He's the only one so far to have a confirmation. While the rest of us biting our finger nails. Plus, his model did not mention anything about a cradle. Looks almost like a different X3I or something. More information would be useful ie. price charged, tax, exact order time, etc.

Still nothing past the initial "order acknowledgement" order for me...usually doesn't take this long, so it doesn't look good.
