Dead Asrock 939dual-sata2 and raid0 compatibility

Have a 1tb stripe set and need to replace this board (preferably with a more recent one), while keeping raid0 compatibility.

Asrock 939sli32 seems interesting, with eSata, gbenet, hdaudio, etc., but I'm not sure if its sata controller (m1697/m5288, I believe) is backward compatible with mine (m1567/m5289 with stripe size set to max) - I mailed Asrock, but didn't got an answer, yet.
Also, which other boards (diff mfgs) would you recommend (uli based, since nvidia aren't compatible - their word - and intel probably aren't either)?

:light:: if you're having the same problem or are scared because of it, check here, might be the answer for you; unfortunately, uli isn't mentioned and they haven't replied to me yet, either.

RAID2RAID looks very interesting indeed. Thanks for the find. I wonder, does it support Jmicron, or Silicon Image (3114) RAID formats?

I doubt, since they don't mention them, but in the mean time I've found two other (commercial) utilities that can do the same, more or less easily: Zero Assumption Recovery and File Scavenger.
