I just ordered this, then I saw it posted at that technical b@rgain site:

"HOT! Amazon has the Netgear MR814 Wireless router AND Logitech ClickSmart 310 Special Edition (USB) for only $59.95 - $30 rebate = $29.95. Click Buy Both and save."

Now there also exists a Logitech MIR for another $20 off of the camera. That would make it $9.99

Yo;)

the rebate is for the normal, the one included in the package is the special edition. but at the very least, you're getting a free camera.

i bought two mr314 from staples. one from BM one from .com. now i get to return both.

i'm using the one from BM and, frankly, the signal is dissappointing. hear the m4814 is stronger.

Hmmm...amazon isn't showing the camera for me now, it was showing it for me earlier today and it's gone now.

Not a big deal, I've got a $10 GC and you can't beat $20 for any router, the wireless is just a nice bonus :)

I think even if you put your order that time, Amazon will still tell you the webcam is oos, unless you use 1 hour to find your coupon.:).

This was an awesome deal. I didn't get in on the webcam, but I need to upgrade my old non-802.11 networking.

So, for $60-30 rebate-5 coupon=$25, I got the MR814 from Amazon. That's just a smoking deal.

I wanted to stick with Netgear for the PCMCIA card, but Amazon had the MA401 for $58, which was a tad high. It also has a $15 rebate, though.

So, I pricewatched it and found Eagle Computer Systems was selling it for $40 plus $6 shipping. So it ended up $40 + 6 ship - 15 rebate = $31. -- (I checked Resellerratings.com for Eagle Systems, and they only had high marks. Seemed like a good bet.)

Total, $56 bucks for a wireless router and a notebook card. Man, I think I might have to nominate this for hot deal of 2002.

Nah. You will get the webcam in a white box. Please forget the $20 rebate and correct that in the subject.

I heard that some people got the camera in a retail box, sorry if you got a white box :(

Nothing wrong with the title - it correctly states $29.99 and POSSIBLY $9.99

You sure you "heard" someone got a retail box? Have you noticed amazon stated clearly that the webcam is a special edition from logitech when you placed the order? Should I say POSSIBABLY you are misleading people here intentionally?

There are two copies of the Netgear rebate that are floating around - the one located on Netgear's website and the other on Buy.com's website. The only difference between the two is that Buy.com's rebate shows a rebate limit per product of 2, whereas the other shows a limit of 1. Will it make a difference if I use the rebate offered on buy.com with my amazon purchase?
