How much do they run? All my UPS systems are CyberPower, and their replacement batteries aren't too bad (I think in the $40 range last time I checked).

Yeah, $40 is about the price they are, as long as you don't shop at APC's store.

yea, batteries from APC are priced like 50 or 60 dollars... but they are the same RBC batteries with an APC label slapped over them.

i've gotten the battery cores much cheaper but these models use a "sandwich" plate to connect two of the same battery and those plates are damn near impossible to find by themselves. everyone usually just tosses the battery out as a whole piece and the sandwich connector with them.

I own several of those, and they are similar in features. The CyberPower unit features a simulated sine wave output that works with electronics that are sensitive to the change in power to battery. When active PFC power supplies first became common many years ago, some of them would instantly shut off the PC when it switched over to battery power. Most modern quality PSUs don't have any issue with that.

But if you look on APC's website, they state this unit is compatible with active PFC PSUs:

If you need a good UPS, get this while on sale. If I needed another unit, I would have no concerns buying this to use with my electronics.
