DEAD: Antec 900 @ fry's for $59.99 after $40 MIR, shipped FREE!

Antec burned me twice on rebates last year. Good products but seemingly bad rebate program. Get Certificate of Mail showing date mailed, keep copies and expect to go through big efforts--that's my take. On both, I just gave up. I wish there was a federally based rebate complaint system, and when a certain number of complaints are acquired investigative action would be taken. I believe that rebate fraud amounts to billions of dollars of fraud a year. In my state you go to prison for one year for over $100.
 
Figures that this would come along, considering I just bought one from Newegg last week for $119 + shipping.
 
humm, I got in on the last one just like this (1 month ago) do you think I could get the MIR if I did it again?...2 900's for $120 shipped and no tax 🙂
 
Sweet deal! In the past, I also had problems with Antec rebates. But in the last year or so, they have all (4-5) come through. I've got 6 on the go right now and they are all on the web tracker - good sign, but we'll see how they go.
 
My track record with Antec Rebates is 2 out of 2, but I agree with those who say that Antec's are some of the harder/longer ones (rebates that is) ...
 
I have used several of these cases and they are currently my favorite. They are very quiet, run extremely cool and will hold just about anything. Personally, I like the bottom mount Power Supply location. They are heavy but also strong. For this price you couldn't go wrong.

No, they won't. Sometimes they have the same deals, so you might want to check the ads in your local newspaper.

I'm surprised to hear that. I have submitted seven rebates to Antec with complete success. Perhaps you did something wrong?

Remember to always make copies of every thing you send to them. Send simple certified mail. If after two weeks it doesn't show up at rebatestatus.com, email them with jpg of everything you sent them. Expect a wait of about two months for your check.
 
Check the date out on the rebate. If it's the same dates as the previous rebate, then no, because it's the same rebate.
However, if the dates are different, then you can submit another, because it's a different rebate.

Btw, I have multiple pending rebates at this time. That is, rebates approved, just waiting for the checks to be mailed.
 
This is a great deal on a great case. I got mine for 90 last time when compusa had it, could have saved 30 bucks :/.

It was in stock for about 3 hours (if not more) after the initial post. I just updated the OP after the case went OOS to save clicks for people who're only moderately interested in things like this. It's a good practice not to post links to things OOS and I abide by it (so, "too late" mostly refers to you, but not the OP). If you really need this case at this price you may want to monitor the link in OP, as the case *may* come back before the rebate expires. Peace.
 
I was looking for a good deal on one of the better Antec cases, so I jumped on this when it was posted. I ordered Friday, the case arrived today. Very good quality build, a decent looking design, although I'm probably a bit old for the old flashing blue LED fans of leetness.

Interestingly, the case isn't nearly as roomy as I'd hoped; the dimensions listed are somewhat misleading, particularly the height, which includes the plastic bezel that houses the 200mm fan. Internal dimensions are almost identical to my Enlight 7250 series cases, although obviously this thing will provide much better cooling.

A great deal on a good case, hopefully it will be back in stock soon...
