It sucks for you too then....

Why's people gotta be so semi-hostile with everything. Was it necessary to say sucks for all of you?

Sucks for all of you

Looks like somebody missed out on the deal :)

Haha, same thing I was thinking :).

No, I was one of the first to get it. I am apart of the retail program from circuit city. That email came directly from AMD so it is legite. For you who have already got one, your safe. For you who just placed the order, maybe you will get lucky, maybe you wont.

That may be so but since AMD is honoring those who ordered, I feel they should honor it for those of us who tried to get in on the deal before they closed it. It is the only fair thing to do. We did not hack it. We just saw it and tried to order and due to the servers being down could not. They have the right to cancel but as I said they should be fair to the rest of us. We followed the rules posted on their site. I got to register but could not take the test. I am going to wait and see if they do the right thing.

It's crazy how many people got on this order. I got in when I saw it on FW around 9. Took a hour to get register. I really didn't think it was that great of a deal. a good deal. I just hope my shipped doesn't turn into LOSER.

It's the parasites that buy and sell that screw everyone. All that work for a hundred bucks. Hardly worth it, especially if it took you hours to gettin in on it. If I wasn't building on a HTPC I wouldn't of bit.

If I'm not mistaken you get the tracking number by calling the product shipping center, at least thats how I got mine when I ordered through RetailPro.

I haven't gotten any emails since the 1st confirmation. But it's TD so I don't expect any stellar CS.

I just wish I could find a decent case for under 60. Seems like all the HTPC cases are over 120.

When you received the package, was there an alternate tracking number on it? Something like your email address, name, phone number or order number? That would save a lot of calls. Thanks.

You know what is truly scary about this whole deal?

AMD teams with TD to bring you a promotion. That sounds like a recipe for disaster to me.

Does the L2 cache of 512MB instead of 1GB limit this CPU or does the faster 2.2GHz make up for it over the 1GB L2 2.0GHz model?

How come you can only find the 1GB L2 cache version available anywhere at retail?

Is this CPU equivalent to a 2.4GHz P4?

Thanks

Cache is 512kb instead of 1 mb, yes this is a SIGNIFICATLY better cpu.

Pretty sad when there are people that are so greedy and so self-centered that they order multiple combo's to sell on ebay. They could care less about anyone else. It is only ME ME ME with them. Sad Sad Sad :(

I would almost bet that in the next couple weeks or so, you will see quite a few people selling multiple amount of these combo's on ebay.

If someone ordered multiple of these combos and would like to hook me up, msg me. I really want in on this deal but do not fill the requirements. I would really appreciate it, thanks in advance.

I don't think that this motherboard will fit any HTPC Case out there. Are they not all Micro ATX Form Factor?

No, no they are not. There are actually quite a few HTPC cases that will accomodate a full size ATX mobo. Check this place out for more info: HTPCnews

I can't wait to get my stuff. TigerDirect and/or UPS better not screw up.
