I didn't want to jinx myself by posting that mine was still In Process, but now that it's shipped, I feel better. I feel pretty fortunate. Now I just need a hs/f, mobo, some ram and a pci-e card and I'll actually be able to use this badboy.
 
Also, I noticed that this deal was posted on fatwallet about 38 minutes after I discovered the price decrease, which means about 1000 FW'ers probably crashed Frys.com trying to buy one, alerting them to the discrepency. Hence the Fatwallet effect.
 
So, my 4400+ arrived yesterday. Thrilled that I got in at that price, not so thrilled when I opened the package. The proc was in a plastic case too large for it and I counted about 10 pins that were bent to the point of touching other pins. I've gently nudged a pin or two on an old tbird 2100, but this is pretty crazy. Should I just return this without even trying or what?
