This is actually a pretty good MB. Got one at FRY's with an AMD 3700 for a friend and it OC's pretty well. The 3700 SD runs fine at 2.6 at stock voltage. Has fairly slow ram which is the limiting factor or might do more. I was surprised! ECS seems to be getting better......

CPU = $135 at newegg so value of board is ~$24ish, not bad for 939 socket. Nice.

I saw this deal this morning.

Interestingly they do NOT state that the CPU is a "Box" cpu. Usually when they say "Box" it means retail. Perhaps this is an OEM chip?

I just got off the phone with them. The guy I talked to stated that the combo was made up of item numbers 4445566 and 4767329. 4445566 is a retail boxed processor, but 4767329 doesn't pull up anything and it's not even close to the item number of the board if you pull it up manually. I'm still not confident that this is a retail boxed processor because the item number he gave me for the motherboard is incorrect (at least according to the website).

Looks like a good deal. I think I'm gonna pick this combo up + X1800XT + Fortron 450W.

If no one has this deal near them, I can sell you a new OEM 3200+ chip and the same motherboard for the same price.

Not that I don't want you to sell your stuff, but this deal is at Outpost.com. It's near almost everybody. ;)
