Just bought one, though I'm pissed because I just found out Amazon had to start charging Tax in PA this month. This is going to start limiting my spending at Amazon, not their fault just an unfortunate side effect. If they are going to do it, I wish they would just do it at the federal level, instead of state-by-state.

Even so I find deals to still be better than other places. Just a matter of waiting two days to save $5-10 on something that costs a few hundred. Usually I prefer to have it then.

I hear ya, they are still pricey if you want anything larger than 256GB. But this one is for my MacBook Pro not my Desktop, so I don't need quite as much storage on there. Only using about 120GB right now of my 500GB drive, so no big loss there and my pro apps like Aperture, Logic, Final Cut, Photoshop and Illustrator should all launch faster and be more responsive.

OT Starting July 2013 you'll be paying NJ sales tax for purchases on Amazon. I read this in the local paper about a month ago. They are building/built a warehouse/distribution center in NJ (don't remember which city). The state has given a "grace" period and will not require collection of state sales tax until July. :thumbsdown:
