Got mine today too! Sealed, in a box, complete w/ UPC code. Any rebates available on this sucker??? 
Did everybody that got a mouse also get the apology email? I'm wondering if the fact that I didn't get that one is an indication of wether or not it will show.
Just got mine today....just in time too! My laptop mouse just went kaput yesterday. Neat little mouse!
I received no email notification either but I am not expecting this thing to show up since it didn't yesterday. I'm in Ohio.
I sent in a fax of three Microsoft mice: 1) a basic OEM 2) an Intellimouse 1.1 3) a wireless scroll-wheel. All of these mice were busted and thrown in a box downstairs.
A few days later, I received a letter (via USPS) with a copy of my fax and a letter saying they needed to get further clarification on a few things. I called them back and they said that they couldn't replace any of the mice -- they don't handle OEM returns at all (I figured this) and that the warranty on the other two had expired.
I suppose it didn't hurt to try -- but I still come out empty handed.

Don't recall ever getting a notification e-mail, but my mouse arrived today. Very cool. Now when I use my laptop for extended periods of time, I won't have to theif my desktop's mouse.
edit: Man this thing is small. It's just barely bigger than an actual mouse. Cool.

A pair arrived today........guess someone likes my address, go ttwo with exactly the same address label on each package. Look like nice little portable mice.
Received mine today too in a big yellow envelope. No prior e-mail warning.
