I missed out on this, and would like to get copies...

If anyone is willing to make copies and mail them to me, I will PayPal you some $ for your troubles.

Please LMK via email: dsparks at 1800extrude dot com

Thank you!!!

Ok...mine came. Great stuff. I thought a LiveCD was in the bunch, but it wasn't, so I downloaded one from linuxIS😵rg to get a preview. Great stuff. If you didn't get the set, you're really missing out.

But I want a seperate machine to run it on.

Anyone know where I can buy a 750MHZ+ desktop for $50-$100? I mean, if you can buy a 2.4 from Walmart for $299, why can't I find a desktop for $50 to $75?

Still waiting here in PA, but i did get an order confirmation email, and a shipping delay email, so here's hoping patience will pay off 😉.

Your Novell Linux Technical Resource Kit will ship at the latest by
Monday, August 16, 2004 via US Mail. Please allow up to 7-10 days for
delivery in the United States.

As mentioned in a previous e-mail to you, we delayed shipping the kit
because of a greater than anticipated response rate, and the fact that
it contained the previously unannounced SUSE Linux Enterprise Server
(SLES) 9 product. Announced at the LinuxWorld Expo last week in San
Francisco, we are excited to be able to provide you with this first
enterprise server product to include the new 2.6 Linux kernel.

Although we began fulfilling the pending kit orders as soon as SLES 9
was announced last week, it has taken us some time to fulfill the tens
of thousands of orders that we received. We appreciate your patience,
and are confident you will find this updated Novell Linux Resource Kit a
comprehensive tool for evaluating the Linux offerings from Novell.

Sincerely,
Scott Carlson

I like these guys, they give us a free expensive upgrade!

Got mine today. I had completely forgotten about it too. Now if I just had another system to play around with.

I'm still waiting ;(... Come on Novell/Suse! I've got an AMD 64 system all ready to go. I've used Slackware/RedHat/Debian/Mandrake for years but I'm willing to give SuSE a try.

i dont believe suse has a trial version. u can d/l the exact same software online. it's just that suse doesnt make it easy for one to install cause they dont provide cd images.

You can download the GPL programs but some of the non-GPL stuff you can't get without a CD/DVD.
