(DEAD:6FT under)Metal Gear Solid 2:Sons of Liberty for $9.99 at outpost.com

it doesn't say its a strat guide plus its in the game section not in the strat guide section. typo or yes it maybe a start guide after all but we may get lucky 🙂

interesting, both items are listed under fighting catagory,
the difference is the 9.99 one has "Not available for export" and the requirements is just "Playstation 2" while the 49.95 one is "Sony PlayStation 2 Game Console; 1 player; Compatible with analog and digital controllers; 8MB memory card for PS2; Vibration function" and there is "(Manufacturer# 19233)".

Note (from techbargains) that Oni is 9.99 as well. Oni was released a while ago I believe and isn't supposed to be nearly as good as Metal Gear Solid 2, but its still a nice price for what is suppose to be a pretty decent game.

I think its worth a shot. It says nothing of the sort about a strategy guide. I did buy one, however the more and more I think about it, UPS may be bringing me a Metal Gear Solid 2 demo disc in the near future. However, it doesn't hint at that in any regard either.

Its very peculiar, definately tempting enough

there startegy guides actually say strategy guides in the description. I figure either we will get cancelled or they will ship. I searched for demo discs as well and they don't have them. In addition the guides have pictures of the books in the description pages. I ordered one here's hoping...

I placed my order, did overnight shippign with my fingers crossed 🙂
The description is pretty explicitely a PS2 game, I think it'll get canceleld, but I'm not out any money.

Lying bastards...fess up when you make a mistake.

I ordered a couple before the price changed. I will send them a threatening letter because I don't see where their policy is like Dells and supports them having the right to correct any errors. How about you guys, do you see that in their fine print somewhere?

If anyone does actually get this...thank your lucky stars because it's an obvious pricing error. Anyone that's going to bitch and complain how Outpost owes it to us is just being ridiculous.

As a real estate finance agent stated, "if it's too good to be true, it probably is."
As for threatening an etailer...what's that going to get you? I think everyone agrees
that pricing mistakes happens, and that many here have had their orders canceled
because of that alone. If I was an etailer and I received a threatening letter, I would
simply tell you that, that was a limited time offer with limited amount sold at that price.
Or I could tell you that we're out of stock. Or simply tell you we apologize for the
pricing mistake.

Time to change the title to reflect deal dead.

They have the right to do anything they want, it's their store.

Hey, I didn't get a cancelation email? Did everyone who ordered get a cancelation email, or are there some of you like me who have not got the cancelation email?

anybody have a copy of the old page with the 9.99 price? I want to try to pm with blue since i bought
the game already with my blue. it would be much appreciated
