Okay, so they're spread out across a couple of machines, but mostly they are in various pull-out trays for use in a dual drive Firewire box. I've been looking for more 400-500GB deals because I've been slowly trying to sell off anything under 300GB. I think I'm actually going down in the actual number of drives while going up in storage space.

why do you need to use a JPEG(!) that big? i can only think of PSD files i have that are close to that that size. i shoot RAW. i can imagine the load times while having to sort through your portfolio.

sighs, they cancelled my order and their excuse is that "this item is discontinued, we no longer sell this" and their site is still selling it for 140 bucks. they claim that they cant update the site to reflect this.
