Emprex is one of the worst, if not the worst brand of LCD made. I wouldn't buy it for $199!

Much better TV for same money..though it is only a 27" and it does have the QAM tuner.

Olevia >> Emprex? Good to know. :)

I got pretty much that set a couple months ago from Fry's for that price. Mine's a 'monitor' though and doesn't have a tuner, which is fine, because I bought it pretty much to replace my 27 inch CRT TV for console gaming. PS3 looks pretty sweet on it :)

I recently got the Olevia 527V LCD, and so far it's pretty nice. Excellent picture, though the menus take a bit of getting used to and the bundled remote is pretty much junk. I have my trusty Universal remote though, so it won't be an issue for long.

I saw that Emperex in Fry's last Nov. The one on display was pretty bad. Washed-out color picture quality. I suspect that it was due to long running in the display room. Cause me to have reservation on quality of Emperex.

I got the emprex 3701p back in september/october when outpost switched to fry's for the staggeringly low price of 690.00. Its been an excellent display, with slightly lacking black levels being my only reservation. The colors are very vibrant and the display extremely bright, easily besting the picture of my friend's 37'' dell. I have heard their CS isn't anything to write home about, but I haven't needed it and am very happy with the purchase!
