There are other monitors on that ArsTechnica link that you may like more. Some are 24'' IPS monitors.

Huh, the coupon works for me (it is 11:58 PM EST currently). Shows a price of $270 with the 10% discount.

I would for sure prefer the 24". Especially with all the time I spend at the computer, the couple extra $ is certainly worth it.

I spent a lot more on my Dell 24" and I still consider it *well* worth it. Much better than the samsungs I had before. Better viewing angle, didn't die the minute the warranty ended, nicer stand, etc. (but the dells are more expensive of course).

I think 27" should be reserved for 1440p+ but that's just my humble opinion.

This is still a great price.

Well, you can get the 24'' 1920x1200 IPS Dell U2412M for $266 if you use the code HNQ2$W?T6M93MW. Price has risen by $16 since Monday morning.

In general, all the discounts are lower than yesterday but only by $10 or so. The original monitor and coupon links still work, but the price will be a bit higher today.

Well that is annoying, just bought one of those Sunday.

That's a nice affiliate link you have there.

I picked one of these up refurbished from the Dell Outlet about two months back. I usually never buy refurbished ANYTHING since I don't care to play the lotto with computer stuff.

That said, I'm glad I took the chance with this one. I got a brand-new looking monitor with all cellophane still on it, and no dead pixels, more importantly. I hear what some of you are saying about "27 being a bit large for only 1080p, but I can confirm that I haven't been able to notice or spot any pixelation in games, movies, or programs.

And I was looking for any sign of it, since it was a concern of mine from reading reviews stating the same about the large size for the res. I feel I can now all but dismiss them.
Great monitor for the money, especially if you snagged one @ 200 like I did, heh.
