DEAD:256 pc2700 for $9.94 or less @ Staples

I went to the one near my apt.

Manager took an hour to figure out if something was wrong because she even went to the website herself and friggin the same thing happened. So I wasn't lying to her. Therefore, after about an hour she's like i'll ring it up for you with the price change and all. Then I asked her wait.. can I buy 2 more. And she was like there is none left.. but I FRIGGIN SAW AT LEAST 5 of them on that Hanger. Basically she told her employee to take them off the shelves. And I was so heated. I fought with the manager saying I as the customer want to purchase MORE!... She wouldn't budge.. she told me its a mistake and she said she has no more to sell me. Is there any way I can get her into DEEP TROUBLE for lying to a customer straight on??

1) Go back to the store and as for a customer comment card.

thanks for the post - i will try later today. if you use osage's link, make sure you change the store location (might not matter, but it could weaken your cause if you're in cali and show them a pricematch from a store in MT)

How can you order it online???
All that comes up with this sku number is $52.94 minus $23 mail-in rebate. Even using a coupon, I don't see a way to make it $5 😕

No reason to bite the hand that feeds you. Not over this deal. Just be happy with what you got, and wait for the next deal to come along.

Right, I had the same problem. The manager and cashier did not want to price adjustment even though I had the printout. I told her to leave the stick on the counter and walked out. Simply not worth the hassle sometimes.
 
This is a misprint - it is supposed to be $29.9x after rebate ($52.9x - $23.00MIR=$29.9x).

The manager went ahead and gave me the price on the website ($29.9x - $23.00MIR=$6.9x) on two. One is Elixir, the other is SpecTek, but I don't know if they are 2100 or 2700. I only need the 2100 anyway.

Yeah, I didn't get so lucky with the pc2100. Like I said I got Elixir chips labeled as pc2100 (stickers) and they turned out to be pc2100. Better luck next time.

Do I put all 3 rebate forms and rebate receipts into one envelope? or do they expect us to have like 3 different envelopes?
 
I picked up three in El Cerrito. Cashier had to re-ring at the lower price, but all worked out. Only donwside is I got SpecTek -75A chips (PC2100).

Any chance in heII this will run at 166 (PC2700)?????

no go at city of industry staples, general manager wasted my 45 minutes. >_< and there was some in house drama going on, manager and some sales associate guy were arguing/giving each other attitude. heh.
 
tommorrow, how about buying 3 and using.. 20 off 100 coupon... that'll tick them off for sure 😉

Good idea, but went to local staples today, they were all out! With a filler you might be able to use printable 20 off 100 coupon if there is one available......time to hit up the coupon threads.......hehehe

I got the last 2 at Bundy (LA), they accepted the receipt of my friend with the deductions on it.

Kinda strange to pay for RAM, I got so many for (nearly) free during the last year.....
 
I just printed my shopping list, will see how it goes in the morning. If it works, will be great with the Fry's combo I picked up today for $59.
 
Got three after work yesterday. Showed the manager the printout and he said he was aware of it but since the rebate prints out for $23, they had to add $3 to the price. End cost will be the $9.94 so that was cool. The ram was in the new packages, all with 2700 stickers on the back. Sweet deal...Thanks.

FYI - there was probably 4 more left at the Farmington Hills MI store.
