Forgive my ignorance. But I thought P4 2.4G+ & AMD 2200+ need a power supply of atleast 400 watts. Guess I am wrong?

It might depend on the power supply, some weird power supplies might not work with one or the other. Since this is from compgeeks, it could be weird..

yes you are wrong there. there are plenty of quality 300W psus that would do the job just fine.

forgiven. I use a 330 true power antec... depends on the power supply

There's no way you need 400 watts for a Athlon XP, I have a 1800+, Sis Xabre 128 Video Card, DVD and CDRW, 80gig HD, SCSI Card, and SB LIve all running on a 150 watt, and have NO problems.
