Add me to the meager group of people allegedly getting a check.

I called up the rebate center after finding out I was approved via "wheresmyrebate.com". They said that my check would be mailed out on May 16th. Dang! I mailed in that thing back on Feb 7-8th and they didn't get it at their processing center until March14th! Here's praying that it won't get lost in the mail!

If your rebate isn't on wheresmyrebate.com, I could highly recommend you call them and check what's going on.

P.S. Damn I missed out on that extra $50 rebate *cry*
Though at $340 (after taxes) still a decent deal.

On a side note, I got my $100 rebate back from BB already on the 17" CRT version of the VPR Matrix display. And I bought that monitor at least another 2 weeks after I bought the flat panel! Why is this one so slow?

I mailed my rebate on the 2/27, and no sign of it on wheresmyrebate.com .

It worries me when I call their number and got hung up on 4 times (by a machine).

It also worries me that their alternate language is french (the french hate americans right now).

And the csr got very huffy when I told here there was no rebate offer number on the form. She tried to tell me that she just ' can't do anything' . I sincerely believe she is totally ineffectual.

I guess I will just keep checking, then pull a tirade at the store where I bought it if nothing shows up by next month.

Edit; my rebate is showing up. Yaaah !!

Is there anyway someone can send me a copy of there bb.com invoice? I did not make copies of the invoice that I was given. I bought one from an ATer and I can't get another copy of the invoice. What should I do??? Please help, I need the $50 bad!!

I have called and they gave me a "Well you may have sent in the rebate, but it doesn't show up in the computer, it must be being processed". How the hell long does it take to process a stupid rebate, 11 weeks??

Edit: Nastiness possibly retracted my second time complaining must have gotten them to find the damn rebate, because it just showed up.

My $160 rebate finally showed up as "accepted" on wheresmyrebate.com. I really hope this arrives soon. This is why I hate rebates. I'm still really happy with this monitor.

already got my $50 rebate, and my $160 is showing up as accepted. not bad at all, considering it took less than 5 weeks for me to get the $50 rebate :)

people on FW have said to of gotten it. I called up and they said mine would be mailed off may 15? Bastards!

I sent it in like the same day I got the monitor, which was a day or two after the deal began!

Yup, me too. Did you send in via snail mail or use one of the online rebate services? Also, who did you call to confirm your rebate?

ok, I found it on there and it says my rebate is accpeted too.

How does that web site work? When I tried to search for some other rebates, such as the office max 120 GB HDD one going on right now, it didn't have anything. Heck, it only had one rebate listed under office max, and I know that's not right. Also didn't have the rebate on the DVD+R disks from Best Buy listed either.

I decided to call wheresmyrebate.com to find out what the hell is taking so longsince it was accepted a month ago. They said they will be sending it out May 30. I asked why it takes almost 2 months from being accepted to send off the rebate and the csr said she had no idea. I asked to talk to a manager and got a voice mail. So if it actually does get sent off on May 30, it will have been almost 4 months for this rebate. This is ridiculous.

i've been waiting since june on a visiontek rebate... will probably have to [try to] get bb to let me resubmit. like i said earlier, samsung + new rochelle, ny = rebate trouble... my samsung 16x cdrw $50 rebate took 6 - 7 months
