It looks like a good monitor, and having both digital and analog inputs makes sound like something usefull, but has anyone hear or used one of these. Are there major problems like ghosting??

I WANT!

However, the manufacturer's web site is suspiciously devoid of useful information (doesn't mention response time, viewing angle, or even DVI input!), and the reviews (and FAQ) seem to be for other products (Hint: Mentioning magnetic orientation for a LCD monitor?) It does look like a Samsung 171P clone, but one of the rebates goes to GVision, manufacturer of the infamous Kogi.

I'll prolly bite - can always take it back.

Look again - that was the Best Buy page.

I couldn't resist - placed order on-line for store pickup. Made copies of everything in case they claim it was a price mistake. It doesn't make sense for this to be cheaper than their Kogi they had recently. My guess is the rebates weren't supposed to overlap, and/or the $50 instant rebate was supposed to be the $50 mail-in rebate.

There is actually a pdf on the vpr site that links to a little bit more information. That's where I saw the analog/digital connectors.

arh, i'll order one too, and if it sux, i'll return it.

first time i saw it, "designed by F.A. porche" i first thought of samsung 171 too

and yeah, how bad is kogi?

I have a Samsung 171V right now, I am thinking of selling it and getting this, since if it is a Samsung 171P, it is slightly better plus has DVI. 🙂

I've pulled up some pictures of the Samsung that's been mentioned, and while they do look similar, they are clearly not "the same" or just a rebadged version. I may do this too, but I'm not banking on it actually being a Samsung.
