It's a shame these aren't available in any of the stores near me or I'd go pick one up right now. Been looking for a cheapo laptop that still had some decent features and this fits the bill.

edit: found one relatively close and bit. It's definitely a cheap laptop but I think for a newer I5, 750gb drive, and 6gb ram it's a decent deal. For what I want to use it for it will be just fine.

Just be warned that while you can upgrade the memory and the drive, it's not your typical one screw hatch to get to it. On these you pretty much have to disassemble the whole thing. I think to get to the memory you have to pull the main board. On the plus side, even though the hp docs will tell you 8gb, I've read of people putting 16gb in and it works fine. That plus an SSD makes it pretty zippy.

It's got all your typical HP BS on it too. First order of business will be to create the restore disk and then wipe it clean
