DDS backup tapes at OD

Don't know if this deal is the same at all Office Depot's or just the ones in Columbus. DDS 90 (2GB uncompressed/4GB compressed) backup tapes for 3.25 with an additional 25% taken off at the register. DDS 2 tapes (4GB uncomp./8GB comp.) for 4.99 also with 25% taken off. Pretty sweet deal considering both of these still retail for about 15 and 19 bucks respectively.

WHAT? No one in their right mind would pay $15 for a DDS2 tape!

Staples.com sells them for $5 every day... just 3 months ago they were selling them for $4.50!

If I understand your message and doing my math right, you are saying they are under $4... that is a GOOD DEAL... but not a steal or anything.

Well pardon me. I haven't looked for DDS tapes in a long time and thought this was a pretty good deal.

what are we all going to do when OD is done with their big clearance event? i think they are only seling this stuff so cheap for another week or two, and then whatever is left is being donated or destroyed.
